By integrating financial empowerment with trauma-informed care, Hustle & Heal helps youth shift from survival mode into strategy.
Designed for youth ages 10–17, Hustle & Heal blends hands-on job training with mental wellness and substance use education.
Participants explore skilled trades like makeup, hair, photography, and design—while also learning emotional regulation, stress management, and resilience-building strategies.
We begin as early as age 10 because research and lived experience show that the risk factors leading to justice system involvement often appear long before traditional job programs begin. By offering mentorship, employable skills, and emotional tools during these critical formative years, we help youth disrupt harmful patterns before they take root.
